no problem but gifts/tributes tech gifts/tributes/trades and surrenders must be disabled - ai is too easy to abuse - and we can use tdm-modpack

What's tdm-modpack? I searched around for it, and found mention of it, but no where could I find it nor a description.

BTW - I've never ran a mod before, although I'm not averse to doing so.

it only makes ai less stupid

you should not generate random empires but instead add existing ai empires (add existing --> choose --> edit --> controled by computer)
high difficulty/high bonus will be good too

Well, another person has joined our game, making the total no. of players four. Anyone else want to join? I'm not going to start the game until tomorrow...
