Re: Prophetizing under siege
I dunno, seems okay to me. I expect it would pretty tough to communicate with somebody under seige inside a castle.

Re: Prophetizing under siege
Although, if you are trapped within your castle how do you let your entire nation(and the world) know who your new prophet is?

Re: Prophetizing under siege
You send out a bunch of messengers. Just like you can still send messages when you are under siege. They've got a little white flag taped to their hats and no-one attacks them .

Re: Prophetizing under siege
I think you can justify it either way from a theme/RP/realism perspective. From a gameplan perspective I think it should be allowed though.

Re: Prophetizing under siege
I think people knowing about the prophet is a an effect of being a given special powers of the prophet, and being known is not a prerequisite for being a prophet. So I dont believe the entire nation would have to be told about the annointing. Furthermore if that where true then when your provinces are cut off from one another you would not be able to annoint a prophet either, but clearly no one would argue for such a rule.

Re: Prophetizing under siege
My home province is under siege. When my slumbering god arrives, will he appear in my castle, or have to fight his way in? If it's the latter, he's doomed. Thanks, DB
