Re: Aran
I was hoping to see the final battle between my forces and Mictlan's sieging army, but the server appears to be down.
Don't worry about your victory being deemed a mere result of your nation, thejeff, you played your cards capably.
I like to roleplay, and the nations routinely deemed as overpowered usually have an advantage when players like me are kicking around. And that's fine by me - Mictlan had been the first to insult and rape my populace. I had no choice but to respond as the plebes demanded recompense.
I witnessed a few of your battles against Arco and one against Mar, and you knew what you were doing.

Re: Aran
Nope the IP has changed:
60.46.30.238
Sorry I forgot not everyone uses the domain name. Either that or DNS table changes have not propogated yet.

Re: Aran
I'd be up to playing in a new game.
In general, mods make me unhappy.

Re: Aran
Fantastic battle. You almost took it with that Ice Devil, Tequilich! I'm going to have to watch it again in the morning when I'm sober and my partner is off to her laboratory, leaving me alone.
Mictlan scares me forevermore because of you. *jaguar dreams*
I'd be in to trying out the Worthy Heroes mod, vfb, if nobody is against it. It adds a lot of spice for all nations from what I've read. Keep us posted.
And congrats, thejeff. Be sure and mention your victory in the winner thread thingee. You deserve it. *Augur Elder prostrating himself and waiting for the next age*

Re: Aran
Hello everyone. I'm one of the guys from vfb's Tyrande game and he let me know another MP game might start soon from this group. I've got a few going myself but looks like I may be eliminated in one soon so if this actually goes through, I wouldn't mind joining.
A 20 prov per player random map would be fine with me.
Worthy Heroes is a fun mod to play. Never played it MP though. And I too would avoid the CB mod, only because I don't always agree with someone elses definition of balance. But I'd try Worthy Heroes.

Re: Aran
That was an impressive battle, again. Things like that one and the last big battle between you two that I saw, are what make me think I'm not so dominant. I don't know what I would have done to beat that force.
I guess I just have to keep reminding myself, that was probably close to everything you could pull together, so I'd need to do something similar to match it, not just one army.
For the next game, since I'm going to be away and assuming we play MA, I'd like to put in a bid for Jotunheim. Stick with the Norse theme.
vfb, it doesn't look like 3.07 is going to be out soon, so we could do CB, but would you be happy going without it if no one's playing Vanheim?
I'd be fine with Worthy Heroes or without it. Hmmm, I may need luck. Angerboda is really nice and so is the Neifel hero.

Re: Aran
Yeah good battle Ermor your magic is just too potent. I now know for sure Mictlan MUST research construction4 for those rods before going down the blood path. WH mod sounds fun for the next game as does MA, but im not sure who I will play yet. The armies of Mictlan is spent and I am also going to be away for the weekend so maybe we should call thejeff the winner if vfb and tromper agree. If not then ill still finish it out.
