Being late should bring out the solo players. You arent likely to get a choice pick on a nation at this point. But getting a random leftover nation means you get to play with a ready excuse.

Even if you sign up now, you will still have the same chance as everyone else of getting the nation you want. Who gets what nation will be randomly decided by the host using a seeding system on random.org.

I would expect this to be a once in a lifetime chance. Although if this game goes well, I expect there will be a few more that follow it.
