That seems strange to me. From what I expect from personal experience, Abysia shouldn't have acquired anything from fighting Ulm in the death-match at all, The Harvest Blade should have been lost when the hero wielding it got defeated. Then again, I might not be right after all, but I believe that the only thing that you acquire in the death-match is the trident (or you die). |

Well, I tested it, and that's what happened.
Abysia definitely got an item in addition to the trident. I'll have to do another test someday where I put more items on the units, to see if I can get the winner to pick something else up. And I should test with non-Artifact items too. Some day  .
All I really cared about was the minor cursed items, and whether they are all automatically picked up or not.

You can get items from the deathmatch other than the trident. That much is verifiable.

Indeed. As referenced in another thread, my poor Hoch-Hamer picked up a Rune Smasher in one Arena duel. Then he died in the very next duel because the Rune Smasher is such a sucky weapon....  |

Actually the fact that the Harvest Blade did get picked up by Aby that one time does indicate that you can pass along cursed items in the deathmatch. Very interesting!

Why do you even care? Let them. Just fill all of _your_ slots, and let
them screw each other with the cursed items. Hell, a valuable commander
should not have any free slots, if only because there is always some item
that would be damn useful.
