Re: Boiling the Ocean (Organizing)
I don't know if being too large too fast was the problem.... I think it was not having more diplomatic agreements in place. Generally before I attack someone I like to make sure that either a) All my neighbors except the one I want to attack have a treaty with me or b) my neighbor is diplomatically isolated in that all his neighbors want to kill him.
Unfortunately i seem to be on the receiving end of option B =(
I actually am not sure who started the wars in in with Agartha and Pangaea... I know Helheim and Marverni attacked me without warning, but thats not terribly surprising. C'est la vie.. i'm still having a good time, and fighting some pretty amusing battles.

Re: Boiling the Ocean (Organizing)
If things turn further south for you, I will work with Oceania to ensure that province 360 is set aside as a cultural preserve for the sophisticated people of Tien Chi. There will be an interactive, animatronic model of Zhao and peppy tour guides to instruct school children in sensitivity to Chiens (is that what you all are called?).

Re: Boiling the Ocean (Organizing)
Turn 26 has been posted, due tomorrow at 8:30 PM EST unless we decide by consensus we want to extend the deadline to 48 hours or so.
What do you all think?

Re: Boiling the Ocean (Organizing)
OOC of course, and great hosting seej - regarding the general deadline question, I would be okay with extending it to 48 hours, but only if everyone else is. If a single person isn't, I think we should stick with the day turnaround except for prior notification which is perfectly acceptable. Sometimes grandmothers die for a third time or I have to sell my house. Happens.
Plus, my bare chested warriors disco dance while eating arrows and pooping monkeys wearing plaid, but don't tell anybody. Just be glad that Abba was remembered when they all croak.

Re: Boiling the Ocean (Organizing)
I would heartily endorse a 48 hour deadline... getting eaten alive from all sides is time-consuming.

Re: Boiling the Ocean (Organizing)
I would prefer we stay on the 24 hour deadline.
