Actually, you've answered your own question, Cugel.

I would suggest just cut and pasting the miniatures (in 2 dimensional graphical form, ofcourse) with a paint program. I suggest Image Forge, it's free, versatile, and pretty easy to use.

Then either modify those images until they aren't copy-right enforceable, or convince someone to do it for you, and you've got what you need.

By the way, I'm at work, so I can't research it properly, but what language is this in? It looks French from the brief glimpse I can manage at the moment. Too bad I don't speak more French...and you're doing just fine with the Queen's English, by the way-better than I ever Parles vous'ed Francois, that's for sure.

I will try with Image Forge and tell you about the future of this mode : if i can do somethning that will no more make me puke at firt sight .

Umm... well. The search function on this forum is pretty hard to work out, but it should be somewhere in the dom2 mods section.
