RE: Length of Thread,
Maybe, but in therms of quality contribution to the players of SEIV, I'd say there are many other threads that would win.
Now, I you were to rate it on cross culteral studies then we may have a definate winner.
It certainly has been educational for me.
Edit: (ment in good humor)
Slightly reworded

Or did you do that to get more time to practice SEVI G? More of your guile showing through?
You better not quit this game befor I shred your ships with Plasma torpedos.
Other than that, I have seen your tallents and would hire you anyday. I don't charge much for my referances either.
Edit: PS, the Last person I remember using "Au revoir " was Richard Nixon.

Well, my line manager has said my resignation shouldbe accepted as I am obviously not committed to the company and the firm.
My ultimate boss and head of team has told my line manager to go.... ahem.... herself and has pointed out in my favour that calling a member of staff in after a late flight and from compassionate leave is pretty bad.
So where I am now is that I am having dinner with my ulimate boss tonight to discuss things (salary will be right a the top of my list I can assure you as will my line mananger)
Failing which, I have spoken to a friend at another firm who would be game on indeed.. so the answer is
No, I have not been fired, I resigned and if I do leave, I have somewhere to go
If "Au Revoir" or "Hasta La Vista" are not to your liking, how about "Auf Wiedersehn" or "Eey Awwww" in Mephisto's honour

Dear Aphrodite's peaches, dear jewel of the desert, dearest helen of troy, as a sophisticated, intelligent, civilised and expert practioner of the "artes gourmand and infatuando" (as well as being true blue English), please be assurred that like any discerning feline, I see through the artless sophistry and pompousity so prevailent in those in administrative functions, whether male or female, and take great delight in proving by the use of cunning linguistic art that they are blowing hot air at great speed from their behinds.
As stated by Sophocles, Plato, Thucydides and Socrates, it is surely proven that in any organisation, there are those in administrative jobs who could not find their arses with an atlas

Phoenix, please accept my most humble and profound apologies for what I hope you have taken as good natured rib-tickling - you have never ceased to make me laugh out loud and proud
May be you can get some chat up lines from these voices and if some of them are girls, heck, you could date those without leaving the house!!

Re: Gryphin and Growltigga Thread
Saxon & Terran C, in regards to the Moose cuisine, I would suggest some of Tesco's and Puke's wonder Sauces, (see earlier Posts in regards to our gourmet discussions) I'm sure that with either one of these additions, you would receive tastes that in truth, would incorporate new taste buds upon your pallets in regards to the preparing of outdoor food.
GT, Doens't your current/ex company have a bereavement leave policy? I agree that this was most cold and unsympathtic on their part. If this is how they treat their employees, I don't blame you for looking elsewhere, you might even consider moving to Cleveland and setting up practice, always room for one more around here..
PS. got my gold yesterday, looks good, I have some questions but hope to start practicing for the blood letting sometime this week.

Hmmm, I would rather have my cojones surgically removed and my ring-ed tail clipped before I move to Cleveland
Got Gold yesterday, was off work with flu yesterday - Hmm can anyone else smell something fishy here other than Mac's aftershave??
