Re: Gryphin and Growltigga Thread
Tigless,
My ego is associated with the title of the thread and think of all the people who would have to change their links to this thread if the name were changed.
We could / probably should create a new thread more or less specific to the up coming Gryphins Gallatic Grandure as your ships eat hot plasma

Re: Gryphin and Growltigga Thread
Tigless,
Is the following:
"blowing hot air at great speed from their behinds."
Refering to the gentlaman who sits down the corridor from you that was awaken by the explosion coming from said region. I believe you indidcated it was heard by all.

Re: Gryphin and Growltigga Thread
Guff, damn, these Germans are too fast
Does your ego know no bounds? You should be more modest - I have seen howe you have changed the name of your homepage to 'Gryphin's Portal to Unbridled Delights'!
We are not changing the name of this thread to that I can tell you - how about 'Grumpy Gryphin's Garrulous Goosing Gaseous Gropefest'
Moose Kissing is relevant as there are plenty of Canadians on this site
Plasma Torpedoes - I have seen Anti-Matter Torps and Quantum Torps - never seen Plasma Torps - is this a reference to the hot air issuing from your backend?
Yep, the human zeppelin is still working here

Re: Gryphin and Growltigga Thread
My vote is to keep it the G&G name, it befits the G&G Posse....

Re: Gryphin and Growltigga Thread
mac make a directory in the seiv root directory and call it mod.
then place all the different mods in that directory..
Then in the root directory edit the path.txt file to point to the mod directories..
ie mod/tdm-modpack or what other directories there are...
and just edit this file to try different mods...
what was shipped 1.50 or 1.60 ???

Mac, you are too old to vote - calling this the G&G thread is a little too egocentric for my liking - something like 'La Cantina' idea from one of the other Shrapnel forums would be as jolly idea - given my heritage, can't we call it "The Olde Frog and Frigate" - any G&G action (what a horrible concept and can I make it clear I am talking about our upcoming game where apparently "Gryphin is going to blow me to smithereens with his plasma torpedoes") can be dealt with under a thread simple specified as the "International Challenge"
On a separate matter, some of you may be delighted to here that I have been granted a week off paid, a substantial rise in salary and terms and I am replacing my former line manager in that role. She has been moved to human resources. Huzzah
Now, the new problem is thar my wife is on a pensions conference in Edinburgh next week so I have been given permission by her-who-must-be-obeyed-at-all-costs to enjoy myself - gosh
