Re: Gryphin and Growltigga Thread
mottlee,
Um, just checking,
Did you say you wish you had thought to have your cojones removed?
I'm sure I misread something.

Re: Gryphin and Growltigga Thread
My aftershave would just enhance the situation
However, I also called off work on my 2nd job as I was in dire straights. BUT, the good part was that I persevered and managed at great tribulation, to read the entire Gold Manual But alas, I had to force myself to come to work today as have important meeting to attend, but I feel a relapse coming on, maybe have to go home early to continue my recovery

Re: Gryphin and Growltigga Thread
GT, "Bald is Beautiful", tho I do have some hair left at my age...
The manual is nicely done, a little more informative then the old one, better explanations in some areas with better descriptions and examples of various screens, gives some points on modding if your so inclined, but doesn't mention anything much on drones or how they are supposed to work other then you can use them to hit ships or planets. Can they also hit a battlestation? Overall I would say its better then the original SE4 one. But, it still lacks some explanation areas, at least in my opinion. Example, It gives a listing on all the mods included on the CD, but, As I am not all that computer litterate, It doesn't give a step by step process as to how to download them and then where to look to find them or how to access them. I know you download them off the cd or from the program, but then where or how do you access them for play. Remember, I'm asking this as one who plays on the computer but doesn't get into the intricacies or workings and yes sometimes, us poor old senile gamers need some of the youngsters to hold our hands and walk us thru. Also once you download the mods, if you pick random ai's does it pick from all the races including those from the mods, or do you have to go and only play each mod seperatly to get the new races? My opinion only remember, I love the modds and can't wait to play them, but I just thought there would be a better table/whatever as to walking me thru to get them... But I am willing to learn and shall ask the modders for help, all in all, better then the old one and I do like the mouse pad...

Maybe, but in therms of quality contribution to the players of SEIV, I'd say there are many other threads that would win.
Now, I you were to rate it on cross culteral studies then we may have a definate winner.
It certainly has been educational for me.
Edit: (ment in good humor)
Slightly reworded

Guff and TS, I have a different take on this.
This forum is for afficionados and fans of Space Empires in all and any of its incarnations. Sure, it is only right and proper that threads dealing with every topic are dealt with, whether they are image requests, modding files, strategy questions, newby questions, technical stuff or whatever. The point is this forum covers everybody and what the G&G thread is or should be, is just a general discussion thread
Can we change the title?

Bald, bad and bold, that's me - in fact the Claudia Schiffer lookalike down the corridor (do you remember her?) has come in the room to ask me if I am leaving and has said that she thinks I dont look like Shrek, but that I look like Bruce Willis - gosh....
ahem...... now where was that flip chart on how to circle that wagon

Re: Gryphin and Growltigga Thread
Tigless,
My ego is associated with the title of the thread and think of all the people who would have to change their links to this thread if the name were changed.
We could / probably should create a new thread more or less specific to the up coming Gryphins Gallatic Grandure as your ships eat hot plasma

Re: Gryphin and Growltigga Thread
Tigless,
Is the following:
"blowing hot air at great speed from their behinds."
Refering to the gentlaman who sits down the corridor from you that was awaken by the explosion coming from said region. I believe you indidcated it was heard by all.
