Have postponed hosting by 2 hours as I forgot to take my turn tonight, and now I'm a little tipsy! So I will take it in the morning.

I think I read that to copy the orders and assign them to other commanders IS an exploit, as the game was designed specifically not allow player to make their units target mages.

Wish respect to a unit you charm, I am not sure. I would think you would be permitted to use the unit. But if you want a definitive answer I would ask on the main board.

I think I'll play it safe: if I use him in combat I'll switch his orders to attack rearmost enemies. I'm content just with the free equipment I got from charming him, though I would have liked one of the trolls as well. Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll attack again so I can add to my collection.

Aaargh! I am a moron.

I have been reading about people going away on holiday, and sorting out replacements and things, thinking somehow that it's convenient I don't have the same problem. Also I have been planning my trip to a conference next week. D'oh!

So, I will be away 11/7 - 19/7 (English style dates!). Being as both Xietor and I will be away for basically the same period, is it okay with everyone if we pause the game for this period? Sorry.
