Re: Game: Scorned Land (open)
Tibbs, you are Abyssia?
*boggle*
I am Pangea. Us forest folk have been skirmishing with the evil Sauromatia for quite some time. Up until recently, that is, when the vast forces of Tir na n'Og invaded Sauromatia's capital and killed his god. At first, I was grateful, of course, but now I'm frightened--
Is Tir attacking two human players at once? And winning? Is there anyone else fighting him that I should know about?

Re: Game: Scorned Land (open)
Hail everyone! I just want to say that you have no reason to be afraid of the fair folk, bother us not and you shall not be bothered. I only attacked Sauromatia because I accidentally thought he was AI (embarrasing, I know). Peace negotiations are now underway and I'm certain that we can come to an agreement.
Abysia, our aggressor, lost his troops to storms, rain and thunder. They fought bravely and with unseen fury (even after getting 2 thunderstrikes to their heads they kept on going!), but their everburning flame now flickers in the wind raising from the east.
Arcosephale seems to be gathering his troops on our border. I hope they're not plannig anything foolish that'll get them killed... Bother us not, and we shall not bother you.

Re: Game: Scorned Land (open)
Excuse me for not sounding sympathetic to the plight of the Sauromatian people.. but..
Why bother being diplomatic with Sauromatia, Burnsaber? You've already killed his god and are seiging his capital, why not just finish the job? The Warrior Women will be enslaved shortly, either by you, or if not they will surely fall victim to the lure of Pan's flute and join my growing army of meneads. Sauromatia as a nation is doomed either way.

Scorned Land
Up until we heard of your message, we were gathering the troops that retreated from
the assault on Tien Chi. Yes, we know, it's a lot of troops. But most of our
archers ran... it seems that once you give a man a bow, he becomes a coward. Note
that not one single female archer ran.
And on next month, we fully expect to use the gathered troops to assault the last
Tien Chi holdouts on our border. At this time, our citizens have not decided to
declare war on Tin Na Nog. Keep threatening us, keep talking about how easily you
will kill us, and they just may vote to put our military to the test.
Your mages are not the only ones that know the secrets of lighting, and ours
know quite a few things beside that.

Re: Scorned Land
Were all of the settings normal for this game? I'm just curious because I typically have a couple of heroes show up by this time.

Re: Scorned Land
Sauromatia is staling again. If he has given up, we should
set him to AI. For a few turns, he has been the only nation
left for about 24 hours, and ends up stalling anyway.

I was starting to wonder why we always seemed to go two days between turns. It would be great if people could be considerate enough to tell us when they're having problems, or just go AI if they don't wan't to play anymore, rather than holding everybody else up.
