My wife has a degree in computers, and another in business. She has her own desktop machine (actually there are 5 in the house, networked, and two linux servers). She is considering getting a laptop since she hates being away from her keyboard for long.

As far as games, she is more of a console person. She is into real-time shooters. Mostly mech-warrior stuff. She also has DM'd DnD games at tournament level for over a decade.

I can say in all honesty that Dom 3 has had an adverse effect on my marriage-my wife's threatened to smash my laptop into little bits on more than one occasion, because I spend the majority of my free time playing this game.

I've currently got my laptop hidden, because I figure, if she can't see it, she won't think about it as much, and then I can play it to my heart's content when she's not around.
LOL

My wife has threatened to burn, smash, hide or else pour water on my, laptop, desktop, 2nd desktop, games and or books (and she know which ones I like most, Dom generations and George Martin come first on the black list). Fortunately this grim fate hasn't yet been met
Yes, my wife is a game/computer hater too. She has hid my keyboard and mouse numerous times.

She calls me Otaku.
