Ugh, that was an unpleasant siege battle.
This is why I much prefer it when my enemies obligingly take the field. I also forgot to change the scripted instructions on my mages  .

I don't suppose anyone got an unexpected present from EA Oceania in the form of 30 fire gems? I (should have) sent them to MA Agartha, but apparently they never arrived.
The idea of coughing up an extra 30 gems is moderately  .

Alchemize them into nature gems and summon a couple of sea dogs so that you can enter the sea.

I asked for a sub on the IRC channel for EA Vanhiem... and got Quantum Mechanic. He isn't sure if he can stay for the whole game but it's better then the nation just lapsing to AI.
