Ulm is on the way out
Well with multiple nations going after me again, not much point so, AI will be taking over this turn.
At least I had some fun with sneaky Vampire-led crossbowmen behind enemy lines...
Have fun all!
Cheers,
Sleet

Cowards...
So what coward is spamming black death on my provinces?
Please raise you're hand so I can march my new horde of undeads on you.

A month that will live in infamy...
It turns out that my last post was only too accurate. Mictlan has broken a 40 turn NAP in order to launch a surprise attack against my peaceful empire. They were abetted by the cruel (but foolish!) C'tissians, who met my offers of a NAP with a wave of Imprint Souls, followed by a general advance along all fronts.
Fortunately, the forces of freedom fought back fiercely, and the invaders met with several marked defeats. The largest invading army, led by the C'tis prophet, was encircled and completely destroyed. In the end even his own troops turned against him as they realized he had led them to certain death. News of this disaster has sent enemy morale plummeting, so that desertion and back-talk is rampant in the lizard ranks. In one notable case, an army of over 100 C'tis soldiers fled from a single lesser horror. Even now the tide is turning against the lizard hordes. Midgaard has activated its second-strike capability, and is launching thugs from their protective domes deep into the enemy's agricultural and industrial centers.
As for the backward Mictlani, they are still fighting the last war, where massed jaguar charges were the order of the day. Next month our forces will head out to meet them, and demonstrate the latest in combined-magics battlefield theory.

And so the last wars will be fought as the Behemoth Midgaard rises to claim the world. The Atlantians will fight against this power. NAP with the Midgard is hereby terminated. You have 3 turns before we claim all of the seas and your coastal fortresses.

I bring good news to the Alliance! Midgaard is now accepting pre-applications for surrender. Don't delay! The first accepted applicant will receive a cushy slot in Purgatory, while those who wait to do their essays will probably end up in Tartarus U.

Re: A month that will live in infamy...
Errmm, seems like only Atlantis and Patala are left to fight Midgaard, and I belive Patala has been staling for a while? There's a thread where gameextremist was looking for a sub, and it seems that he didn't find one for this game.
If it's only me against Midgaard, then I'll have to concede as I'm at best playing only a supporting role.
