Re: e confirmation
Add my name to the list. I mean, for all you poor souls who have ever accidentally done that...

Re: e confirmation
I think a toggle in options to turn on stealth units only sneaking /if/ you hold ctrl when assigning movement might be useful.

Re: e confirmation
Yeah, we need confirmations when throwing away items. Return to Lab should definitely be at the top of the list since that is usually the one you select.
Also there should be a way you can plan battles better with the y button if there already existing armies in the selected province. Right now you can not reposition existing armies and commanders so you have to switch between the provinces to determine the positions of the moving army and the existing army. I think this is already on the bug list, but for me it is one of the most painful things about the UI.

Re: e confirmation
If it is added, all I ask is that it be an OPTION.
I absolutely detest being asked if I am sure that I want to do something, and I have never had an accidental end turn or accidentally thrown an item away.

Re: e confirmation
Im in agreement, and also wish it to be an option. A command switch would be fine. I think that its a good thing to have for new players, but should be something that we can eventually turn off when its more of an irritation than a help.

Re: e confirmation
well, two clicks io one click doesnt seem to make much difference, and a hotkey ("Y" for "yes i want to quit seems obvious) makes it fairly easy as well. but a box to x the confirmation pop up off wont hurt as well.
i got angry at first when i ended a turn accidentally, now i constantly keep in mind to avoid that button untill willfully sought, but as it is just a single click and go, even moving aside my mouse or making a wrong movement could do much ill. and to have it so subtily amidst the all the other buttons like any other, it would put my mind at ease to have a confirmation pop up.
would make sense as well when youre first trying the game, that this would pop up.

Re: e confirmation
I've also just fumble fingered 'e' when reaching for 'r' to set someone to research.
A simple 'e' or click, then 'enter' to agree wouldn't be too burdensome.

Re: e confirmation
I've been asking for this for quite a while. It seems that too many people consider the confirm end turn button as a "I think you are too stupid to hit the right key, so I'm forced to double check on you" button.
If the "e" button could be made into a SHIFT "E" than that would reduce problems also.
Doesn't anybody realize that I like to have a fermented beverage or two to reduce the agony of micromanagement?
