the 2 +H sword is very useful for MA Ermor.

I like the Chalice too for tartarians

Another fav of mine - tho not technically a good artifact - is the Stone Sword. Love it! If you use it just right its a devastating weapon.

Make sure you put it on a 30+ MR SC.

I think I prefer stone sword to magebane as well. The stone sword is simply awesome in battle. A Tartarian starts with 18 or so MR, so its not too hard to get 30+ MR.

Oh, don't discount the Stone Sword, Cor. Its quite powerful, even if it is extremely dangerous. As meglobob suggests you can bump up the MR of your SC till its practically impossible to kill with it. Or, you can use (more or less) throwaway SCs. My particular favorite was Harbingers cause they are cheap, start with good MR, and if you can summon them you can easily forge an AMA. You just have to assume that they will die within like 5 battles or so and have someone there to catch the sword when it falls.
