 | Yeah, the weather is a bit odd. The wise men of Yomi, wonder however, how could this a be act of Caelum's god? If the fake idol of Caelum would be truly for god, he'd have started to send the weather against us much more early. Yomi already has mustered the armies needed for Caelum's defeat, so why would this "omnipotent god" waste his magical resources on such stratedigally ill-adviced plan of attacking our production?

				 Re: EA PBEM Doom Chicken
The men of Yomi have a strong faith, indeed.
Caelums god no longer exists, he has abandoned them. They have not given up however. Many of the people of Caelum are now atheists, believing the gods tromping around the world to be nothing more than illusions, or perhaps tricks of the mind brought on by drinking too much fermented mountain herbs.

Caelum prepares for the coming storm.

				 Re: EA PBEM Doom Chicken
I spent forever preparing that turn. Why, even the last time I checked, I noticed I'd put the wrong bodyguards and my mages wouldn't have made it to battle. That was the most intense clicking of 'send' and 'end turn' ever.
I could have done better preparing, but I'll settle for avoiding any catastrophic mistakes and a one to one kill ratio against Blessed Abyssians. It slaughtered over half of my forces, but the entire Abyssian army, bar 7.

It cost me some very dear losses. ... But all in all, I achieved my goal. I put out some bait, they snapped it up, an the other half of their forces are still besieging my northern fortress.

Intelligence reports are spotty, but confirm that nothing really remains to threaten me. Abysia probably thought the same, so I wouldn't want to trust the same assumption.

 | Yeah, it seems that there's a line forming up outside the gates of Caelum. Come outside and play little birds.. Those walls won't help you for long.

Our walls are very sturdy. And they give great vantage points to launch spells from.
I was sad to see how easily Argatha was defeated. You should sack them instead of me.

				 Re: EA PBEM Doom Chicken
Well, I've managed to make a couple of updates to my AAR play by play after a long absence. This was a rather interesting battle. Costly, (12 truly dead wights), but likely to turn the tide of war in my favor.
Now, I'm eagerly awaiting the next turn.

				 Re: EA PBEM Doom Chicken
Atlantis is hiding under the ocean, after a bungled war against Agartha, which has ended in peaceful traty with much grumble and talk of Honour from the Atlantian backbenchers.
No provinces were exchanged over the course of the war. It cost Atlantis much of their army, and Agartha lost about eight guys.

For some reason, Agartha has agreed to peace. We look upon them with utter disdain. Fear, but also disdain.
