The map will be essentially the same as the one attached to the first post of Mongoose, but I'm going to modify it to make the seas barren.

Does that mean I'll need to download a different map from the one I got from Mongoose, or is the tweak server-side?

Yeah, actually there will be another map to download - I haven't done it yet though. Shouldn't take me long once I get round to it though (which will probably be when all the pretenders are in).
Talking of which, we're just waiting for TrajanX now. I'll PM him.

Re: Opossum - Game for new/newish players (recruit
I'll be out of town and away from my computer Friday/Saturday this week. Could you please hold back the next turn (I just submitted turn 14) until I can return on Sunday?
As an aside, any gossip? I'll share first: the mighty *Frumple*, cold blooded Lord of Insects, died a few months ago, as you may have noticed. He was slain not in combat, but by an infection he received from the spear of a lucky militiaman. Sometimes poor hygiene can pay off, apparently!

Wow. Died of infection, eh? That's rough. I would have traded you some penicillin for a bunch of gems.

Re: Opossum - Game for new/newish players (recruit
hmmm, this is very strange... can someone tell me, how i can possible suddently receive 4 friars, and 27 flaggelants(without any form of stealth) out of the blue, without any kind of random event message. And then have them appear deep into Ermor land and seeing them attacking and conquering his province?
Ermor if you read this, be asured I did not mean to attack you...
