Also, DrP, no more tricking Arch into giving you a good starting spot ^_^.

My partner left me, now I'm forced to walk this world alone.

Okay, we got our sub for the last spot. OoohSnap will play Marverni with Dedas. So, we will have six teams for this game, and should be in a position to start soon!

Re: Allegiances 2 (Large Team-Based Game, RECRUITI
Excellent. Here's a map with 12 start locations and specials.
The southeast start is stronger than the others (which is why I moved it towards the middle,) but it's not as bad as it looks to the naked eye - the provinces are not all the same size.
Anyway, take a look at let me know what you think, I'll assign start locations to the black lozenges unless anyone objects.

Re: Allegiances 2 (Large Team-Based Game, RECRUITI
I know I would be jealous of the SE corner if I started up north.
What about something like the attached? (my suggestions in green). I'd be happy to get anyone of those positions...
(I guess I usually take into account that bigger sized provinces usually have a higher population as well...)

Re: Allegiances 2 (Large Team-Based Game, RECRUITI
Only issue with that setup is that the westernmost start doesn't have enough neighbors.
Simple solution, I will give it more neighbors.
I'll institute a pass through that western mountain range, and use these starts instead - let me doublecheck them in my script after adding that neighbor.
