I think he already mentioned it when he listed why he chose the nations he did. He said that, while it was good, it was too similar to LA Ctis.

Re: Kneel before MEGAMOD
I know that asking this is a bit selfish, but I need to ask it anyways.
Have you tried my "Alugra, City of Wonders" nation. I don't know if you think that the graphics are good enough, but I think that it has remarkably different gameplay from vanilla nations with it's GoR theme. In Alugra, your recruitable mages suck for EA, but you have troops with magical picks and cheap national GoR spell.

Re: Kneel before MEGAMOD
Well Tomb Kings is actually not very similar at all to LA C'tis (I guess they both have fire/death). Not that I mind too much, but it seems a pity.

Re: Kneel before MEGAMOD
Actually, I was confused and thought Alugra was part of that of that package of city-fight nations , I was also under the impression that it was in Alpha?
It is quite different.... ugh, shortage of nation slots. And none of burnsaber's stuff is in here. I could bump either Skaven or Avernum, I suppose.
Tomb Kings is not similar to LA C'tis in terms of *game play*, but it is similar (egyptians+undead) in terms of *theme*. Likewise, Dinnas'arval (sp.) does not play much like EA Ulm, but barbarians in the EA is taken as a schtick, and Tuetanion overlaps with the schtick of LA Ulm and LA Man, even though it does not play the same.

Re: Kneel before MEGAMOD
Padmassa MA Notes, Thematic:
Clans are now "castes".
1) Changed all instances of "Keda" to "Outlander."
backstory change: The outlanders, who are simple and provincial kin to the "civilized" Padman, allowed the high circle to blend them with their tribal totems. Over time they became more degenerate and adopted hte Keda Beast as their patron. Fiddling with descriptive text to reflect change.
2) Changed all instances of "Kisei" to "Infected."
backstory change: The Infected were slave-warriors modified to survive while infected with the parasitic offspring of Kurgi.
3) Changed all instances of "Tetsu" and "Helgrot" to "Slave"
backstory change: The slave warriors were originally the property/bodyguards of the high circle masters. Now, by tradition, they only recruit from the salves of Padma. As warriors, sorcerers or priests, they are the property of the Horrors, but they remain slaves.
4) Change all instances of "Argan" to "Padman".
backstory change: Minimal. All references to Dis are changed to be references to the horrors.
5) Removed the Myrmidon unit - armored slave warriors are better.
6) Orphans, Head-hunter, Haimgrot, Red Achilleans and Oathsworn are still under consideration - will have to be revised somewhat if kept.
7) The black pegasi are probably unbalanced and have to go (although the picture is *nice*, so maybe not).
8) Sento-mages will be auto-communion slaves. Do we have a backstory for their giant heads?
9) Lots of minor text fixes (cant -> can't, etc.)
Artistic Changes:
pending, but will be minimal.
Game mechanical notes:
1) All the horrors are now horrors (copystats on the lesser horror).
2) They'll be indies if I can arrange that and still have a playable position.
3) Moving magic paths around.

The Tetsu had giant heads because at the time I had problems with head slot in the inventory. Since the problem was later fixed that little device wasnt needed anymore (I dont remember if I actually removed that from the description or not).
