AI inefficiient build manager
I've noticed that the AI will only build one thing at a time in some situations, which seems weird. In my latest game the AI got stuck in a routine of building only 3 satellites per turn for several turns, leaving 12 other plaents idle.
I recall discussion to the effect that Gold was going to do construction logic better, allowing the AI to build multiple items at multiple places. Is this something you have to specifically order, and if so where?

Re: AI inefficiient build manager
I hear you! With the introduction of a unit_construction.txt in 1.64 this problem should be gone as all shipyards are filled with ships and all others idle planets will try to build units.

Ok, I see that Gold is Version 1.6. Did I miss something or is Version 1.64 yet to be released to the unwashed masses?

Re: AI inefficiient build manager
Version 1.64 is a beta Version - all the changes since 1.60 have pretty much been AI modding improvements and bug fixes.
