Re: Holiday timer?
As of last night/turn the server was messed up and still waiting on you for some reason. This turn however your fires are truly out, no big deal.

Re: Holiday timer?
sorry for my lack of response: For the holidays, I will be putting this game on quickhost, no 48 hour timer, till the end of the new years week (1/4/08), since a lot of folk will be absent, including myself, for some of that time.

Re: Holiday timer?
I will not be able to do a turn until next friday night. I am going to be out of town and can not find my game CD to copy it onto my labtop. Sorry

Re: Holiday timer?
I cannot take turns until Jan 6, as I'm currently locked up behind a crappy connection (PBEM would work, but not TCP/IP). I'm not sure what you should do about me, but given that I'm not in a strong position and surrounded by neighbors, you might wish to let me stale or set me AI, and encourage all the neighbors to jump on me.

Re: Holiday timer?
I'm amenable to extending the hosting pause till January 6.
Zach's got it in on hold through January 4 now, anyway, so an extension of a couple more days isn't a big deal.

Re: Holiday timer?
Right, I guess it doesn't really matter if the game won't host anyway. I should be able to send in my turn at around 23:00 on Jan 5, or possibly earlier if I can find a hotspot somewhere in downtown London...

Re: Holiday timer?
Okay, I got back and had the pleasant surprise of seeing you weren't actually waiting on me (notice that I got my calendars mixed up, and I got back on the 5th, not on the 6th).
