Re: MA team game for new players, new thread
There should be a way of rating players to know who is reliable.
I am relatively new to Dominions and PBEM games in general but a bit disappointed by how often players tend to disappear w/o any notice or quit in the middle of the game.

Re: MA team game for new players, new thread
Thats funny - I've actually noticed the opposite about dom players. Every now and then someone just disappears, but usually they will warn in the thread that they are going to be away and/or find a temp/perm replacement.
Are you playing mostly with newer players? Might be that the ppl you are playing against havent been filtered out yet.

Yes, now that you mention all the issues have been in noob games. Also, I have not played any other PBEM games so have nothing to benchmark to.

Re: MA team game for new players, new thread
R'lyeh seems to have sent in a turn. Do we have a new player, or is HJFudge back?

Re: MA team game for new players, new thread
I have no idea. He had previous sent last time but didn't resend it now. He got subbed in one game and now I found a sub for him in Urapara cause he was going to stale 3rd turn and there was no word from him.
I didn't hear from him for over 2 weeks, so something is not right. Even if he is playing R'lyeh but is irresponsive he would probably need a forced sub, cause it is team game. And it would be like playing team game with AI.

Re: MA team game for new players, new thread
My turn went totally insane... I have lost few mages just like that, lost about 30 troops in one place, then got some strange mages that shouldn't even exist... probably nothing major, but funny

I take it you're talking about more than sirens and animists from random events here.
