Re: Counter Intel- using lower level projects
Hi,
i do like the Ship Infestation (think its called so) and the politic puppets most Getting ships AND planets from your enemy is really nice
I only played against AI yet, the first game i played i didnt made any inteligence-projects until i got several Messages each turn, telling me that my pop is going rampage, producing nothing and creating new empires...well from that on i really had some planets only building intelligence-centers...

Well, Suicide Junkie has a good strategy about moving nearly complete defense projects to the back of the queue, but that requires some micromanagement. So if you're lazy like me, try divide points equally and put a number of different defense projects in the queue. When the lower level ones finish, replace them with higher level projects. This hopefully spreads their completion out so if one finishes, there are others with a lot of points remaining.

That was a bug, since fixed.

So what happens exactly? Which projects take the hits and in what order? Does the first project just keep defending until its depleted, and then the next CI project kicks in? Or is their rotation between which project covers each attack?
Just curious..

Re: Counter Intel- using lower level projects
I believe it's whichever project received points first. I started a CI-1 project, then put it on the back burner when I got CI-2, and the CI-1 was the project that took the hits until it finally died. If you start several at the same time, I would assume that the first one in the queue would go first.

Thanx. I will keep my eye open to see if I can catch it working.
