Re: Where is my precious (gold) gone ?
Isn't the income & upkeep the expected for this turn?
So after next turn you should have 579 + (whatever you didn't spend) (+/- events)
Now I can't remember when upkeep and income occur in the turn, so I don't know how much that gets changed by scale changes, battles etc.

Yes, upkeep shows expected one, not the one from last turn. So it could for example automatically lower taxes to decrease unrest in some provinces.

OK ! That's what I was missing, thanks. I may also have missed some elephant about the pillage... I'll check this again next turn then, with the right stats

The expected income does not include support from units you hire/summon in your orders, or units that die in battle (that would be really hard to guess ). So if you summon a bunch of trolls, you're not going to have as much gold in your coffers as you thought.

Re: Where is my precious (gold) gone ?
also, if you have raised taxes above 100%, the projected income does not include the loss of income you will have due to unrest. Patrolling reduction of unrest happens after income loss due to the unrest.
