Server
Can't say exactly what caused it, but I was able to log in with no problems using the first windowed Dom3 session.

See the previous page, last post.
Hopefully I caused it.

Thanks for the duct tape type fix vfb. I just hope the server keeps running, since Zach seems to be MIA.

Spiders
Vanheim is pleased that the spider infestation have been cleansed from the lands, and all that remains are some amphibious arachnids in the oceans.
Wait a minute ... amphibious arachnids?!
There could be spiders hiding in the swamps of the north!
Vanheim will dispatch a small task force to investigate this horrible possibility, immediately!

Re: Spiders
vfb, the way you talk about machaka is really annoying. Nothing you say can be taken literally. Put some intelligence into your "in-character" speech. You know, no one likes to get beat down by an idiot, so please don't sound like one.
Luckily, I won't be responding to this thread in a few more turns.

Apologies for annoying the lost remnants of the crumbled Machakan empire. Our warning was not directed at you. The swamps in the north are held by Ulm, and our task force is being sent (uninvited) into their lands to assist them in investigating the possibility of infestations there.

(ooc: Even when I'm playing an aggressive nation, I like to spread a little political propaganda to justify the actions of my armies. It's more fun for me that way. Even when my propaganda is obviously a totally bogus and ridiculous excuse for invading another nation. And when I'm launching an attack on a nation I haven't been at war with, I like to give at least some warning, even if it is slightly cryptic. Argitoth, if you don't like it, you don't have to listen to it. Please feel free to ignore me.)

Re: Spiders
Oh, if there was a way to ignore people... well there just isn't. God created us all with ears and eyes for a reason.
