I'm pretty sure that Lifeless and undead things can't be changed, so Oracles and Monoliths will just stay Cursed.

It also never changed my Ancient Kraken in the 200+ turns I tested it.

It seems reasonable that it wouldn't insta-kill an aquatic pretender while underwater.
