@James: Was your army set on defend or patrol? If their orders were to defend, then they didn't fight with the PD because they were garrisoning the castle. If they were on patrol, they should have fought with the PD.

Jomon has this stack o' troops on my border. I hope they aren't planning to do something rash, suicidal even.
