Installing SE IV on New Machine. What a Nightmare

I am sorry, I stuck with XP sp2 for the OS. I am now thinking that perhaps Vista would have been the way to go. Then again, I am sure, given what has previously been discussed in other topics, that I can have a dual install of both XP and Vista when I wish to do so. Thanks guys. While I was never able to get the rar to work, I was able to copy if from my old HP POS which by the way, has a new spiffy Geforce Card, better than the one that had gone bad.
