Should be useful for surprise attacks. I mean, even if a scout sees them flying overhead, who's going to believe reports of flaming, flying, many-eyed wheels?

Nonsense! It could fly really high and shadow the sun! After a certain altitude it would be completely indistinguishable.

How do you shadow the sun? Where you need to be depends on who's looking, so so long as there are a couple of widely spaced people on the ground it's impossible.

To be fair, that can depend on just how high you are.

I think the sun can be considered beyond "very high". If said angel was fast enough to get near the sun so it could move around without getting spotted (90 million miles or so), he would hardly have any need of hiding!

On the other hand, perhaps the sun in Dominions is much closer to the earth. Being as it's probably some god's flaming chariot, or a glowing creature or something, it may not be very high at all.
