Re: New semi-newbie game!
LOL, exactly DC. If Zeldor accuses one more person in this game of "backstabbing" him, I will declare war on him. But first, I'll sign a NAP with him and then sneak an army over to his area and attack. Sheesh.

Re: New semi-newbie game!
Okay, I took a look at Zeldor's PMs. Not something I really want to make a habit of doing, but anyway...
So, it seems to me to be a classic case of crossed wires. They seem to have got close to finalising an NAP, having discussed borders and so on, but SSJ never actually finally confirmed the NAP. So I can completely understand why Zeldor thought they had an NAP - many players would think the same - but I think SSJ is correct in stating that the NAP was never signed.
Also, I think the issue was made into a bigger one than was really necessary. If someone breaks an NAP with you (or appears to do so) - well, that's pretty annoying obviously. You might think to yourself that you probably wouldn't trust that player again. But being as such conflicts are almost invariably based on misunderstandings I don't think it's necessary (or pleasant) to do much more than that. Obviously in-character propaganda against the supposed NAP-breaker is fine, but out of character attacks are not so good, I'd say.
Hope everyone thinks my comments here are reasonable.

Well, if that is llamabeast opinion only thing I can do is respect it.
So SSJ is not backstabber, just normal coward then Though I give him chance to be a man - back off and fight me when I deal with other invaders [or rather deal with invaders after they manage to kill me].

Reminder: Alexandria hosting in 6 hours
This is just a reminder to submit your turn for Pangaea in the game Alexandria, since the turn'll be hosting in around 6 hours.

That was 10 hours ago. Came here to find out why...no explanation.
This is the worst game in Dominions history.

Re: New semi-newbie game!
Forums are almost dea for me for last couple days so I couldn't write it here.
There was some fuss last time when 2 people staled, here just before hosting 3 people would stale [Atlantis, Agartha and 3rd one, not me] so I decided to postpone the hosting.

Re: New semi-newbie game!
At this rate, I may need to coach my future descendants to take over Alexandria for me.
Another game I am in, Figment, started a month later and is at ~ the same turn.
The turns here always seem to go the full time limit and now beyond it. I'd say stick to the deadline and if the delays are the result of a lack of desire, then encourage people to go AI. Here I didn't see anyone ask for an extension which from my POV would seem to indicate indifference to staling or not.

Re: New semi-newbie game!
Yes, even in my own case, I do not expect the game to be held up if I don't manage to warn of being late. Seems like a line needs to be drawn in that respect.
