Marinade

Before burning a heretic, baste first with a mixture of:
10 cups crushed pineapple
3 1/3 cup soy sauce
3 1/3 cup honey
2 1/2 cup cider vinegar
20 cloves garlic, minced
10 teaspoons ginger powder
2 1/2 teaspoons powdered cloves

This mixture may be prepared up to seven days in advance, though it is advised that it be made on demand, as the freshness of the ingredients is directly proportinate to the amount of sin they absorb, as well as the strength of the flavour.

Tie the heretic to the stake, and set a fire of 400 F for half an hour. Then endeavour to reduce the heat to 350 F for the next 2 hours; the tongs you used to extract said heretic's confessions is a useful tool for this, and the heated up tool will prove useful in extracting further confessions from the heretic's companions (if any). Then reduce the heat further to 225 F for the next hour to hour and a half.

You can turn over the heatheb for the last 15-20 minutes of purification at a temp of 300°F (Pyre must be at least 250°F for browning to occur). Note that if you do this, you will have a higher risk of overpurifying the heretic.

One cooked, place on altar and garnish with the a sacred blend of 11 herbs and spices. Serves God.
