Re: An introduction to Arga Dis, Blood and Bronze
Mm. I was just curious. Certainly I don't hold myself in the category of people who do not like mods.
I feel that issues should be questioned as they appear (and AFAIK, this is the first guide to show up for a mod) so that precedent can be established in the future.

Re: An introduction to Arga Dis, Blood and Bronze
AFAIK Vaettiheim had the first guide (written by Sombre), and that was/is in the mod subforum.
By the way, I confess I haven't finished reading it yet (it is halfway approaching the size of a novella(!) ), but so far very nice job Amhazair.

Re: An introduction to Arga Dis, Blood and Bronze
Sparthans were... well maybe not exactly dumb, but extremly narrow-minded. Their cult of physical perfection excluded any sophisticated studies. No science, no education. Literacy at best, as necessary evil. I think it should convert to a severe research penalty.

But if it doesn't, there's no need to discuss it in a strategy guide. Feel free to write how Arga Dis can beat the crap out of other nations without researching, though. I'd like to see that.

These aren't 'sparthans'.
No Argans even have magic though, other than the haimgrot who is unlikely to be researching. The magic comes from the Augurs, Gilgans and Misborn.
