Great, but there is one possible problem. The TDM-ModPack contains a Data folder with the .txt files, some of which were changed in the 1.67 patch. If you are using TDM, wouldn't you need to update those files in the mod folder to use the new files?

Also, I hate to be picky, but it looks like most of the changes in these files include misspellings of the word nebula. This is a space game, astral phenomena should at least be spelled/used correctly. The singular form is nebula; the plural is either nebulae or nebulas depending on whether or not you had Latin in high school. "A nebulae" and "nebulaes" are not correct.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but AFAIK the only data file the TDM-Modpack actually changes is Settings.txt, which wasn't changed in the patch. So you should be able to just overwrite the rest with new Versions. Or at least I did and it seems to be working ok.

So get the patch if you want 20000k ships and units...

20,000,000 ships and units!?!? Wow, that should give some great end-game fleet battles!

It is only 20,000 ships and 20,000 units.
I have yet to reach 6000 so I do not know what will happen at 20K. But you should see my mine fields.

And also the fleets.txt file was amended to add numerous race-specific fleets. But you are correct, we don't modify any of the files except for that, so a simple copy/paste of the \Data directory (with those two exceptions) should work.

Could you also just delete the unchanged files? Would it default to the ones in the main directory?

Possibly, but the concept of defaulting to the original files has been hit and miss from patch to patch. Erring on the side of caution, we have always included all of the data files with every new patch (since they are so small when compared to the overall shipset graphic sizes).
