Which treaties prevent colonization?
SEV v1.71, w/BalanceMod
What treaty element(s) prevent a player from colonizing, and under what conditions?

Re: Which treaties prevent colonization?
It does, in fact.
What else is there to say? There's a tick box for colonization limits, and some options about the gritty details in that treaty element.
In SE4, the treaties aren't completely explicit, although most are obvious. But the question here refers to SE5, where every option is right there in nitty gritty detail.

Re: Which treaties prevent colonization?
My copy of SEVw/BalanceMod doesn't seem to have a "colonization limits" tick box in the treaty details. Does yours?
