Now..... there's a big difference in when a vehicle enters production or is in production and when it finally gets to the troops so what we have to establish here is if the Russian sources you always quote are giving the "accepted in arms" date as the date it actually started being used by troops ( that's the only date I care about ) or the date some bureaucrat in the Russian Ministry of Defence said it's OK to start the process of production.
