Yes, SE always display statictics about the first object in the sector only. There are several anecdotal tricks related to this fact: somebody (sorry, I forgot who) made a very interesting system_types.txt with double, triple and so on planets. Unfortunately, when you have race spawn on other than first planet, it automatically transfers to the first planet, even if it is wrong type and/or atmosphere. Once I had a non-breathing rock race start in a sector with huge hydrogen-gas planet as a primer. I was very proud of the result: it is the only known to me way to squeeze two billions vacuum breathers and have 25 facilities on gas giant !
