Re: Has anyone managed to host on a Mac?
Earlier versions crashed also due to that "crash when clicking on already selected unit" bug, but after .15 (I think) it has been quite stable. Still occasionally can't do shift-click to select a line of troops in army setup screen, don't know what causes that.

Re: Has anyone managed to host on a Mac?
I have never hosted a server game on my Mac, but that's because of the router issue. The map editor works fine. It's a G5 iMac with Leopard. The game has not crashed for quite a while since they fixed a few bugs way back when. Hosting PBEM is simplified with an Automator script.

Re: Has anyone managed to host on a Mac?
PashaDawg, could you please check the modding bugs in the shortlist that are marked as Mac-specific? The carious #clear commands? Because I have no way to verify their status as I don't have a Mac. Would be nice to see either way, preferably so that I could remove them from the shortlist.

If it's anything like the PC, it happens only when you're viewing it through "y" and not "t". (I.e. units moving into the province.)

Re: Has anyone managed to host on a Mac?
Does anyone else running the game (either on a Mac or not), get "death screams" played while viewing unit information from the strategic map? It usually seems to happen after you've viewed a battle, and sometimes in conjunction with pressing command+escape instead of escape by mistake. It doesn't cause the game to crash, though it is annoying and creepy.

Yeah, I've gotten those since I can think. I think it has to do with the sound buffer, and maybe with pausing the game while viewing the battles. It's rather funny sometimes if those sounds are released one at a time whenever you click some button on the map or in the message window and somebody is screaming "Ugh" or "Ayyeeeeeh".

Re: Has anyone managed to host on a Mac?
I thought it was some kind of sound testing feature. Viewing male units resulted in the male screams and female units generated female screams. Also, female screams made it sound like you were watching a slasher movie.
Ich, did you get hosting to work properly on your Intel Mac by the way?

No, I think the powersaving feature of the Mac made it impossible to have a server running over longer times. Or that was only Argitoth's problem and the game froze quickly after a while of sitting around idly. In any case, it didn't work.
