Heroes?

Agrajag how do you know such a thing? Where can one find such detailed information about some game features?

It is common knowledge among veterans, because such things have been discussed on the forum already in the time of Dom2 with KO explaining that. It is very often the case that we do not remember if such things were in the manual or posted online.

I try to always play with full luck scales.. but I've noticed that the only time I ever get the random blood caster for pythium is when magic is at 3, otherwise I've never seen the guy.

I'll keep on playing and seeing what happens but from what I've seen so far either something is effecting the heroes that appear or the random generation is a very strange flavor of random..

I have a feeling, from all of the SP that I've played, that there is a weighting system to the heroes. Such that you have the base 0-6% chance to recieve a hero in any given turn, but then you do another roll against your list of available heroes, and some will be much more common than others.

Anyway, I know about small sample streaks and trends in RNGs, but it still seems this may be the case.

Join the club. I have all of one MP game under my belt and got my backside kicked well and good, though the final defeat should host right about tomorrow morning...
