Thanks. Already got my eye on every area attack, due to the title of this thread. Of course I'll be calling down pillars of flame left, right, and center.

Since we may be starting soon, I'd like everyone to state one thing they'd like to see in the game.

Depending on what it is, it might not happen right away, but if it's not going to happen at all, I'll tell you and try to negotiate. (I don't expect to happen, but someone could be silly and say 'A Vorpal sword...At second level' )

(Yes, my sleep schedule can get very wonky...Especially when I'm trying to unwonky it)

A quest which requires us to wholesale slaughter innocent garden-variety bunny rabbits. I don't care how little XP or gold we can get out of it, it's just that I like massacring bunnies.

I would like for the party to somehow receive a long time frame quest in addition to any short term quests the town has to offer. Like a quest that would take many adventures to finally draw to a close taking us ever further afield (or deeper in the ground )

@Astorax: I'll assume the party is going unaligned when I formulate that; if the party doesn't, it'll be the easiest to modify.

I'm trying to choose my character's spells and I wonder...
Is a range of 20 considered a pretty long, medium, or a short range for most combats? Like, can I expect to start a fair number of combats within 10 or 20 squares of the nearest enemies?
