Nobody needs to worry about Ulm. The only thing Ulm is interested in right now, is avenging the great hero Raterik, who was slain in battle by a horde of foul smelling trolls. Now that the time of mourning over, the Ulmish clans seek retribution!

Ah, no doubt this is great comfort to the sidhe, who now surely realize that you are not besieging their fortress, but merely searching for the trolls who killed Raterik!
If the addled governors of Ulm would search for trolls amongst the sidhe of Eriu and the goblins of Shinuyama, then who is next? The monkeys, perhaps?

Re: Aquarium - MA game - PBEM - 10-15 player
Ulm has no real quarrel with the sidhe. This is merely a way for us to sourround the trolls so they may not escape. It is too bad for the sidhe that they take trolls as their friends.
We also remember sending the sidhe a great gift: an ancient pearl of the deep seas, recovered by the great Boognish Wyrm-Lord of Ulm himself. This was a sign of friendship and was ignored by the arrogant sidhe.
It is no doubt the Raterik-slayers where trolls in the service of Shinuyama. They were big, green, ugly creatures whose pungent smell drove tears to Rateriks eyes and dazed his mind. Every storyteller in Ulm knows this.

You know, if my fort were under seige, I would expect some damn big compensation for it if they didn't want to open a second front.

Re: Aquarium - MA game - PBEM - 10-15 player
A new hero has risen in north to avenge the death of the great Raterik. No one knows where he came from, he is shrouded in mystery and he cannot be seen by unworthy mortal eyes. He shall be known as Raterik's Ghost to his enemies, may they fear him and stand in awe at his presence.
He is accompanied by an entourage of loyal ghostly followers and rides a ghostly steed.
Surely this great hero from beyond will bring pride to the nation of Ulm.

It's like waiting for the sequel to a movie - you start to forget what's happening by the time it comes out.
Are we on 48h quickhost? It's nice to give the buffer if people need it, but equally nice if we can keep the pace up on occasions when everyone is able to post their turn in a timely fashion. <3
