Re: Chayot: Not so bad afterall
Oh, interesting. Somewhat balanced by having duel-bait astral in the other forms, I suppose -- even RoW + RoS + skullcap would mean S3.

Re: Chayot: Not so bad afterall
Astral level used in Magic Duel is base only - no boosters.
Which brings up an interesting question: Can you Magic Duel a Chayot when it has no (visible) astral magic??

Re: Chayot: Not so bad afterall
Ok.. I'm not getting the discussion because to much abreviations are used.

Re: Chayot: Not so bad afterall
RoW = Ring of Wizardy
RoS = Ring of Sorcery

Re: Chayot: Not so bad afterall
Boosters don't count? Interesting.
Regarding results, death by magic duel isn't treated differently from other deaths AFAIK. If you wanted it *gone* in one shot, you'd need to use something like Banish to Inferno or Claws of Cocyctus (sp?), although with a Chayot's stats it might not be too long before it breaks free.
