newbie game ?

is there a newbie game in planning or one waiting for another player ?

Do it! Promise it will be very easy. Just set up a thread and wait for people to sign up. You probably want to go for something like 8 players on a smallish map, e.g. Parganos kind of size.

As a new player whos running a game I'd say:

1) The work involved is minimal, mostly it involves PM'ing Llamabeast and asking him what to do.

2) Count me in.

but as a warning its gonna be cbm

so hopefully enough newbs use that

You can always start a newbie game by picking one of the games open on my server and starting a discussion on it.
