Re: Questions (yes, I\'ve read the FAQs)
Great answers to Silent's questions. I'll add that you can repeat attacks if both sides survive a full combat round as long as you have movement points remaining.

Re: Questions (yes, I\'ve read the FAQs)
OK, guess I'm not being clear enough with one of two of the questions concerning range and movement in combat. You see, I DID turn on the grid but no grid appears so I still can't tell how far to move my ships before they run out of points or what distance to take before I fire. Any idea why the grid isn't showing for me? (Or is it a restriction in the demo?)

could be a bug in the demo I suppose.. not sure. Works fine for me. Just to clarify, in combat you're going to options and then making sure the "Show Grid" option has a green ball in it?

You might need to move the viewing window (click on the map in the bottom right)
That will force it to refresh the screen, and the grid should show up.

#10 - If 30 turns seems to short (or too long) you can go into the Settings.txt file and change the value up or down to your preference.

6. I'm aware the manual for the full game is sparse but just how many pages is it?
|
116 pages, more than twice the page count of the original, with a great deal more detail.
The only time I've been able to see the grid at all was over the planet in Tactical Combat.
