Re: Pz Ia Icons
Hello Oragus, I want to tell you what a fantastic job you did with the icons you made for SPWW2. I have enjoyed them very much and the detail is fantastic. I saw this post for Pz Ia Icons and saw that there was a list of previously done Icons such as Pz IV Protze, various guns, etc... I have been unable to find those downloads and wonder if you could tell me how I can download them. I have looked through past posts, but my forum page only goes back 4 pages and they are not there.
Thanks, Steve

Re: Pz Ia Icons
srh501,
Thank you. I release the icons for the community to enjoy. Glad you are enjoying them as much as I did creating them.
That list was a list of icons I have done but have not released quite yet. You can find all the things I have released on here by looking for the blue arrows. I use those to help people find the downloadable icon sets that I release. So far I have released these for SPWW2:
Pz Ia
Pz Ib
Pz II
Pz 35(t)
Pz 38(t)
Pz V Panther
SdKfz 251s
SdKfz 250s
M-26 Pershings
T-44s
I also released a "German Polish Campaign" set, that has many different vehicles in it for that specific campaign.
The other sets that are on that list have not been released yet. So check back for future releases.
Enjoy

Re: Pz Ia Icons
Yes an SHP swaping Utility would be very good indeed. I have filled countless SHP files up by now and I must admit it can be a nuisance. Especially as I want my mod to be enjoyed by all of you without having to sacrifice new units for mine. Nice work as always Oragus.

Re: Pz Ia Icons
I like the detail on the IA Polish campaign icon, right down to the white crosses.
Did these get included on the last WW2 update, 3.0?
Good job!

Re: Pz Ia Icons
Nope, they sure didn't, sorry. You would have to talk to Don or Andy about that.
But thanks.

Re: Pz Ia Icons
This thread seems to be abandoned, but I'd be interested in the PzKpfW IV icons and the M3 icons.

Re: Pz Ia Icons
Actually I'd forgotten to go back and get them, very nice work the Polish Campaign one and the FlakPanzer I really got me. I have quite a collection of icons and had a bunch shp'd then accidently deleted them. Hope to restart that project soon once done I will post the shp'd copies.
Again excellent work. BZ!!

Re: Pz Ia Icons
As far as I'm concerned I am happy with Bitmaps since I totally reworked the .shp's anyways.

Re: Pz Ia Icons
Actually it is easier than every body thinks.
I did it with my autumn camo for WinSPMBT. It was only for USA.
1.) Create a custom OOB and put it in a new folder and name it Germany Poland. Change all your icons to what you want them to be.
2.) Dedicate a specific shp file to only that oob. Depending on how many and turrets you may get all you need on one shp file. No need to change them in or out.
They will always be there, and all you need to do it change out OOB files and presto.
You can make as many custom OOB files as you like, they don't need to be the same.
If you want to do it by year or campaign.
This only really works for single play or PBEM as long as both have the same files.
If you make scenarios with it you need to specify that people need your files.
