Actually, the Umbrals are the spirits of those who sacrificed themselves to create "The Seal", which we don't know for sure what it holds. The Seal Guards are guarding the rest of Agartha from the increasing number of Umbrals (and maybe other things? wights?) that are becoming more numerous as "The Seal" weakens.  |
