I'd be interested as I'm virtually dead in my other game, and I have no patience for diplomacy

There's a catch, though, in that I'll be away between Jan 7 and Jan 13, and I'm not sure if I will have access to a computer during that time (it should be fine, but I can't make any solid guarantee).

As the admin, I can guarantee that's not a problem. Not having _another_ player go AI is worth far more than not having a short delay.
