A fun game I play with TV ads is to figure out which of the seven deadly sins they are promoting in order to sell their snake oil. I agree that lust is very popular, but I don't think it's quite passed the 50% mark yet. Vanity, avarice and envy are also well represented.

heh, that's a great ad VFB 
I don't think the dominions sex ads are objectionable, just dumb. I doubt that the "clickthroughs" they generate lead to any sort of corresponding increase in sales for shrapnel. They are off the mark for the intended audience. Vfb's ad, otoh, is witty and self-deprecating. I'd buy that for a dollar! |
