I am counting Hydras and hydra hatchlings as one type of unit.
Variations of the same thing I'm allowing in their case. They're mostly the same unit, just smaller.
Also, nations that have a special troop unit that also has a commander variation I am allowing.

The game I am in that is using the single age requires the file to be named " SingleAgeComplete.dm". Until I actually build the game on the server I cannot verify that at 100%, but I am fairly certain that is the correct name.

Re: Human Wars: Odd Man Out (2 players needed)
Well blah, I tried to explain that EA TC might have issues. :P
So, I will take MA TC. O.O

Re: Human Wars: Odd Man Out (2 players needed)
There are 2 mods, one is SingleAge.dm, another is SingleAgeComplete, afaik the other one is proper, fixed version of the first one, with new nations added. Creating game on llamaserver automatically adds one of them just by selecting multi-age game. Llamabeast had to fix it, so only the proper mod is used, I think MadFrancis should ask llamabeast about it before we start the game.

That being the case, shouldn't sauromatia also be allowed?

Yes, but I just felt that they were too overpowering here. This game will probably not be perfectly balanced, but I did try to cut any obviously over-powered nations from the make-up.

Sauromatia gets hydras, as well as androphag archers. The poison arrows should count as a special ability, due to their mechanics, and they are quite vicious against human sized (10hp) troops in particular.

The link on the sign-up post for Single Age now leads directly to the correct mod.

Yup, I've talked about it with jim and he has agreed to relenquish EA TC. I was worried about them last night, wondering if they would be too overpowered for this game.

Okay, I think I explained why I allowed the Pythiums.
Machaka DOES have two casters that can shapeshift ... but I fudged with them so that I had enough nations to let people choose from, plus their shapeshifting sorcererss is sort of worthless
I'm allowing early Arco because the only real supernatural unit they have is the Oreiad. The Icarid is a human with a mechanical winged suit, which I am counting as a supernatural mount of sorts.
|
Nooooo I was saying which Nations I wanted to play - and since the *first* two nations I wanted to play were taken while I was typing, I added other nations.
I think I was the first to request EA-Arcocephale
